EDCO is an international wholesaler of non-food products, offering over 10,000 items across categories such as electronics, household goods, garden products and toys. From our headquarters near Eindhoven Airport and distribution centres in Helmond, Deurne and Eindhoven, we serve customers in 56 countries. To realize our ambitious growth objectives, we are strengthening our Sales Team.
As Country Director, you are a hands-on leader responsible for managing and expanding strategic retail accounts. You lead a team of 8 FTE and manage approximately one key account, including major players in both food and non-food retail — ranging from discounters to supermarket chains. You operate at both mid-management and executive level and combine relationship management with new business development. In this role, you play a key part in delivering customer-focused solutions such as private label products, displays and promotional concepts.

You coach team members on both performance and personal development, encourage ownership, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You translate strategic objectives into concrete actions and motivate your team to achieve outstanding results.
What will you do?
Lead the team of Key Account Managers and Account managers within the Central and Eastern Europe region;
Coach, develop and manage team performance;
Manage and expand a portfolio of large retailers (discounters and supermarket chains);
Focus on 70% account management and 30% new business development;
Develop customer-specific promotions in the broadest sense;
Manage project-based sales of displays, planograms and private label solutions;
Prepare and follow up on quotations in close collaboration with internal stakeholders;
Use historical sales data to tailor and optimize product offerings for customers;
Work closely with Marketing, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams;
Participate in international trade fairs and tender processes.
Who are we looking for?
Experience and a strong network in B2B, preferably within retail;
Proven experience in managing and leading teams;
Fluent in English and Polish;
Bachelor’s level of working and thinking;
Experience with large European retailers and complex sales processes;
Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset;
A natural connector with strong persuasive skills;
A hands-on mentality — not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
