Speyzer is the holding company behind five wholesale businesses operating within the broad non-food sector: EDCO, Edelman, SHI, Newco, and Maxecom. Together, these companies supply over 57,000 products across a wide range of industries and markets. Our customers range from large retail chains, including supermarkets, garden centers, and DIY retailers, to specialized resellers, gas stations, and online platforms. About the Role
As a Key Account Manager DACH, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic retail accounts across the German-speaking market. You will work with major food and non-food retailers and engage with stakeholders at both mid-management and executive level.
As part of the DACH Sales Team, you will combine account management with business development activities. You play a key role in delivering customer-focused solutions, including private label products, displays, planograms, and promotional concepts.
What Will You Do?
Manage and grow a portfolio of key retail accounts across the DACH region;
Focus approximately 70% on account management and 30% on growth activities through cross-selling and new business development (of which approximately 20% consists of new business acquisition);
Develop customer-focused solutions such as private label products, displays, planograms, and promotional concepts;
Create and implement customer-specific promotional activities and commercial programs;
Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotations in close cooperation with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain;
Analyze historical sales data to optimize and personalize product assortments for customers;
Actively participate in international trade fairs, customer events, and tender processes;
Build long-term strategic relationships with retail partners and identify new commercial opportunities.
This is a hybrid role with regular presence at our headquarters in Eindhoven. As customers frequently visit our showroom, close collaboration with internal teams is essential. We prefer candidates based within ideally the Nordrhein-Westfalen region.
Vereisten
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree level or equivalent working and thinking level;
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales or purchasing-related role within a retailer (FMCG) or an international wholesaler, preferably in the non-food retail sector;
Proven experience working with large retail accounts;
Experience with CRM and ERP systems, as well as strong proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written;
Commercially driven, relationship-oriented, and able to build long-term partnerships;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
