As an Accountmanager at EDCO you know exactly what is happening in Germany. You are aware of relevant political and economic developments. In short, you know your market. With this knowledge, you are aware of the needs of your customers and you are using this to make a commercial impact on behalf of EDCO. In this dynamic role, you are responsible for the preparation and execution of the sales policy and the development of the sales policy in Southern-Germany. You will work independently on this sales policy and you are responsible for achieving the targets that are set.

The Accountmanager reports directly to the country director DACH. You will be working within the sales department. Along with your 50 colleagues you will ensure that the market areas of EDCO are analyzed and approached. In this position your focus area will be Southern-Germany.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Sell the EDCO assortment in Southern-Germany;
  • Map the different segments;
  • Analyze the underlying structures by segment;
  • Drafting visit schedules and the targets to be achieved;
  • Report market developments and visits;
  • Provide data for the preparations of quotes;
  • Visit and participate international fairs;
  • Develop relationships with retailers and distributors;
  • Focus on New Business


For this job we are looking for a hunter with a professional attitude and a mentality focusing on gaining new business and extending existing business. Someone with passion and drive for the profession and someone who is looking for change and doesn’t dodge confrontation. You have proven talent in a profit environment, you think commercially and you are able to switch quickly and proactively. You are a quick, clear thinker and convert your analysis into practical and concrete steps. You are full of energy and will take your responsibility. We are seeking for a professional partner who convinces through knowledge and counselling skills.

Naturally, travelling with some regularity is no problem for you. Work experience, work ethic and personality are very important for EDCO. As an Accountmanager, you are mainly a fast and smooth personality who is able to open doors. You have a now or never mentality!

You meet:

  • At least higher level in working and thinking acquired through experience in a commercial role and education;
  • Proven sales skills during at least 3 years of work experience in a comparable role in non-food, trade or FMCG;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German.

What can you expect from us?

The first months, the durations depends on your background an experience, you are trained internally at location Eindhoven, in The Netherlands. Later on you will be transferred to the field. During the introduction you will learn everything about EDCO, like the products and processes. After this introduction and training you can get to work! It is very important that the sales mentality of EDCO plays the leading role, the success you will determine yourself!
